| 英文摘要 | A light emitting device which comprises a substrate and a multilayer body that is provided on the substrate and has a plurality of columnar parts, and wherein: each one of the columnar parts has an n-type first semiconductor layer, a p-type second semiconductor layer, a light emitting layer that is arranged between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer, and an electrode that is provided on a surface of the multilayer body, said surface being on the reverse side of the substrate-side surface; the first semiconductor layer is arranged between the light emitting layer and the substrate; an end of the light emitting layer, said end being on the opposite side of the substrate-side end, has a first facet surface; an end of the second semiconductor layer, said end being on the opposite side of the substrate-side end, has a second facet surface; and if θ1 is the taper angle of the first facet surface and θ2 is the taper angle of the second facet surface, θ1 and θ2 satisfy the relational expression θ1 ≤ θ2. |
