英文摘要PURPOSE:To accurately measure light power over a wide angle range by moving an extremely small photodetector along an arc having its center at a light emission source, measuring the intensity of the light power at each angle, and summing up the products of the intensity of the light power and the area of the sweeping of the photodetector. CONSTITUTION:The output current of the photodetector 4 at a projection angle thetan is converted by a current/power converter 5 into light intensity P1(thetan) and then a microcomputer provided in a multiplier 6 computes and then the area dsn of a hatched part by the light intensity. The product of the P1(thetan) and dsn is inputted from the output terminal O1 of the multiplier 6 to an adder 7. On the other hand, an indication signal for moving the photodetector 4 to the position where the projection angle is DELTAtheta larger is outputted from the output terminal O2 of the multiplier 6 and inputted to a photodetector moving device 8 to move the photodetector 4. The results of this processing as to n=1, 2, 3... are summed up to obtain the total light output P.
