英文摘要PURPOSE:To allow the operation with stable and expected characteristic even in partial reflection of laser light, by interposing a Faraday effect element functioning as a convex lens and a complex refraction crystal plate between the end surface of light radiation of semiconductor laser and the end surface of light incidence of an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A YIG crystalling sphere 11 is interposed between the end surface of light radiation 3 of semiconductor laser 1 and the end surface of light incidence 5 formed of the end surface of a core 4 in an optical fiber 2 as the Faraday effect element 12 having a sphere shape for a convex lens function. On the other hand, the complex refraction crystal plate 13 is interposed between the Faraday effect element 12 and the end surface of light incidence of the optical fiber 2. The laser light obtained by radiation from the end surface of light radiation 3 of the semiconductor laser 1 comes into the optical fiber 2 through the end surface of incidence 5 via the YIG crystalline sphere 11 as the Faraday effect element 12 and via the complex refraction crystal plate 13.
