英文摘要PURPOSE:To suppress the effect of reflected light to a semiconductor laser at the minimum slant angle in the semiconductor laser having a double heterostruction, by inclining the end surface of an optical part which is inserted between two lens to a specified direction. CONSTITUTION:An outgoing beam from the semiconductor laser 1 having the double heterostruction 21 is coupled with optical fiber 5 through a lens 2, a laser package window 3, and a lens 4. The window 3 is provided so that a normal AA' of the window 3 forms an angle DELTAtheta within an x-z plane with respect to a common light axis OO' of the outgoing beam, the lenses 2 and 4, and the film 5. In this case, the x-z plane is the plane which is perpendicular to the double heterostruction plane, i.e. the y-z plane, and includes the light axis OO'. By inclining the end surface of the optical part such as laser package window, the effect of the reflected light to the semiconductor laser can be suppressed at the minimum slant angle.
