| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To obtain the laser diode with the optical fiber which is capable of performing stable light transmission all the time regardless of vibrations and temperature changes, by fixing the vicinity of the optical coupling end of the optical fiber, which is protruded from a fiber guide, with a fixing material. CONSTITUTION:A jacket 3 of the side of the optical coupling end of the optical fiber 8 is stripped, and the coupling end is inserted into the fiber guide 15 and fixed with a rein 17 in the inside. A clad 2 of the light coupling end part of the optical fiber 8, which is protruded from the fiber guide 15 is exposed, and a tip ball 10 at the tip is faced to the other light emitting surface of a laser diode chip 6, and fixed to a seat part 12 of a stem 11 by a fixing material 19 such as resin and solder. It is recommended that a distance (a) between the end surface of said fixing material 19 and the light emitting surface is as short as possible. Even through the optical coupling end of the optical fiber 8, which faces the light emitting surface of the laser diode chip 6, is free end, the coupling is fixed with the fixing material 19 and the length is very short. Therefore even if the vibrations and the temperaure changes occur, the position of the tip ball 10 with respect to the light emitting surface seldome changes, and the optical coupling efficiency is not changed. |
