| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To avoid the generation of fiber reflected noise even when the reflected light from an optical fiber is injected to the semiconductor laser again by a method wherein at least a part of the laser light radiated from the end surface of a resonator is fed back to said laser by means of a reflector as the reflected light, and then the spectral width of the laser light is made narrower than that of a specific value. CONSTITUTION:At least a part of the semiconductor laser light 5 radiated from one end surface of the resonator of the semiconductor laser element 1 is coupled with the optical fiber 3 of the length L arranged outside said laser Further, at least a part of the semiconductor laser light 10 radiated from the other end surface of the resonator of the element 1 is fed back to said laser 1 by means of the reflector 11 as the reflected light 12, and accordingly the spectral width of said light 5 is made narrower than C/2nL (C: velocity of light, n: the refractive index of the core of the optical fiber 3). Thereby, the fiber reflected noise generated by the laser light 8 reflected from the end surface 6 of the optical fiber 3 and coming incide to said element 1 is suppressed. |
