| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To obtain the electronic device in which a light-emitting plane or a light- receiving plane of an optical semiconductor element held by a supporting member through a thermoelectric cooling device does not vary substantially at the operation by fixing an optical axis of the optical semiconductor element for emitting or receiving the light in the direction along an endothermic plane. CONSTITUTION:A thermoelectric cooling device (Peltier element) 3 is fixed to the upper part of a supporting member 4 through a heating plane. Also a semiconductor laser element 7 is fixed to an endothermic plane of said thermoelectric cooling device 3 through a submount 6. Then, the upper and lower surfaces of the semiconductor laser element 7 are light-emitting planes. Also a light-receiving element 9 for receiving the laser beam 8 projected under the semiconductor laser element 7 is fixed to the upper surface of another part of the supporting member 4. To the flange 2, six leads 1 are fixed and upper ends of the leads 1 are connected to the electrodes or the terminals of the Peltier element 3, the semiconductor laser element 7 and the light-receiving element 9 through the wire 17 respectively. Further, a cap 18 seals these elements and the upper ends of the leads hermetically. The laser beam 8 projected upward is emitted from a transparent window 20 arranged in the center of the cap 18 to the outside of the device. |
