| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To suppress a reflecting noise and to contrive laterally and longitudinally completely unify an oscillation mode in a semiconductor laser unit as a light source for an optical fiber communication by feeding back the laser light as a reflected light to a laser element via a reflector disposed externally. CONSTITUTION:A reflected light 6 emitted from the resonance end face 2 of a semiconductor laser element 1 and reflected on a reflector 5 and the reflector 5 is adjusted to bring the phase of the laser light in the element 1 in coincidence on the end face 2. A laser light 8 emitted from the end face 7 of a resonator is coupled to a fiber 9, branched by a beam splitter 11, one is pbserved for the longitudinal mode spectrum by a spectroscope 12, and the other is received by a photodiode 13 to observe the noise spectrum by a spectral analyzer 15. Lateral and longitudinal complete sole mode state is maintained in a low noise level extremely to the certain modulation factor, the threshold modulation factor of the limit to be maintained is increased to shorten the distance 16 between the end face 2 and the reflector 5, and when the distance 16 is 15mm. or less, it is extremely effective as a light source for an analog light communication for the noise to become a problem. |
