| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To stabilize the oscillation spectrum of laser by reducing the reflection on the end surface of an optical fiber by a method wherein the gap between the end surface of a semiconductor laser and that of the optical fiber is packed with a medium having a refractive index of more than 1 and less than the refractive index of a semiconductor laser medium. CONSTITUTION:The gap between the end surface of the semiconductor laser 1 of distributed feedback (DFB) laser or distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) laser and that of the optical fiber 2 is packed with the medium 3 having a refractive index of more than 1 and less than the refractive index of the semiconductor laser medium. Since reflected beams from the end surface of the optical fiber can be reduced, the stabilization of the oscillation spectrum of laser can be contrived. Besides, the end surface of the optical fiber can be made close to that of the semiconductor laser, the coupling efficiency can be enhanced. |
