英文摘要PURPOSE:To make it possible to replace a light source unit without on-site adjustment, by constituting a monitor output amplifier including a gain adjusting part as a unitary body together with the light source unit, and making the characteristics of the unit uniform even if the characteristics of a semiconductor laser are uneven. CONSTITUTION:A light source unit 7 is composed of a semiconductor laser 1, a semiconductor-laser supporting metal plate 2, an insulating material 3, a collimator lens 4, a beam shaping aperture 5, a PCB board 6 and, in addition, a monitor output amplifier 8 including a gain adjusting part 80. The output voltage of the monitor output amplifier 8 is adjusted to a preset reference voltage for every light source unit beforehand so that the output of the laser 1 becomes the expected value on a light sensitive body. Thus the on-site adjustment is omitted, and quick replacement can be achieved.
