英文摘要PURPOSE:To retrieve the position of a fiber where an optical output is maximized by feeding back an optical output value converged by the fiber, determining the driving variable of a mechanism having multidegree of freedom to position the fiber and repeating said operation. CONSTITUTION:A fine adjustment mechanism is constituted of an external frame 7, intermediate frames 8, 9 and a head frame 10. Parallel plate spring mechanisms couple between the external frame 7 and the intermediate frame 8 and between the intermediate frames 8 and 9 respectively and respective coupled units are displaced by piezoelectric actuators 11, 12 in the X and Y direction in proportion to voltages impressed to the piezoelectric actuators 11, 12. The intermediate frame 9 is coupled with the head frame 10 by a spring mechanism constituted so that these frames are intersected with each other at their center points and the coupled unit is driven by a piezoelectric actuator 13 so as to be slightly rotated around the center point in the direction proportionally to a voltage impressed to the actuator 13. A column gripper is fixed on the head frame 10 to displace a column 5 in three directions, X, Y, theta, by gripping and moving the column 5.
