| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To fix a laser chip correctly and reliably irrespective of the directional property of a submount by a method wherein the square submount is provided with bonding materials for fixing the laser chip, provided independently of one another on the main surface of the central part of each side of the square. CONSTITUTION:A submount 1 is squarely (rectangularly) formed and bonding materials (solders) 2 in a partially retreated form (pattern) are each adhered on the central main surface part of each side of the submount 1 by evaporation or the likes. Moreover, those four solders 2 are arranged in such a way as to have a point-symmetrical relation with respect to the center of the submount Thereby, even though the fixing (bonding) of a laser chip is performed using any side of the sides of the submount 1 as the reference surface, the bonding of the chip can be conducted correctly and reliably because the solder 2 is ready-provided on the central main surface part of the side used as the reference. |
