| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient soldering strength at the holding part of a cap and a stem, by using dielectric as the material of the cap of a container for a light-emitting semiconductor, which feeds an optical signal to optical fiber, providing the ground plating of high-permeability metal only at the gap part of the cap and the stem, and performing finishing plating with a metal having good solderability, thereby selectively heating the gap part of the cap and the stem. CONSTITUTION:A cap 16 is formed with alumina ceramics, which is dielectric. A ground plating 17 of nickel, which is a high-permeability metal, is provided at the gap part of the cap 16 and a stem 6. In order to improve the solderability of the ground plating 17, a gold plating 18 is provided. When the cap 16 is assembled, a current induced by a high-frequency current 9 flowing in a ring- shaped electrode 9 is concentrated at the part of the ground plating 17 of the nickel, which is the high-permeability metal. Therefore, only the gap part of the cap 16 and the stem 6 is selectively heated. The action of the gold plating 18 having the good solderability is applied. Thus, sufficient fixing strength is obtained with a solder 7 at the bonding part of the cap 16 and the stem 6. |
