Unnecessary light is not coupled into the active layer 23 of the semiconductor laser and a light guide part. Thus an intense coupling efficiency of the light in the main mode with the semiconductor laser device 1 is obtained. Oscillation is stabilized and the frequency can be changed in a broad range.
