英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To oscillate a Raman laser output at a maximum and in a highly stabilized state, by a method wherein an excitation laser beam is, along with a feeble continuous light, injected into a Raman cell to detect the intensity of a laser beam output from the Raman cell and the wavelength of the feeble injected light is controlled to maximize the detected intensity. CONSTITUTION:A continuous feeble light 2 with a frequency nuD generated in a diode laser 1 and an excitation laser beam 4 with a frequency nuP generated in a TEA-CO2 laser 3 are coupled by a beam mixer 5 and led to a Raman laser cell 6. A part of a Raman laser beam 7 output from a Raman laser cell 6 is vetrieved by a beam splitter 8 and its intensity is detected by an output-side detector 9. This output drives a tuning control device via a feedback controller 10 to control a Raman output to be kept at a maximum value. Thus, a Raman laser output can be stably controlled at a maximum and with high accuracy. |
