| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To prevent part of unintentionally emitted light from amplifying elements from being reflected when incident on optical fibers and from making incident thereon again by remote coupling the amplifying elements and the optical fibers on the input and output sides of the amplifying elements with the aid of parallel light beams and arranging isolators on the optical axes of said beams. CONSTITUTION:The title module is provided with a means 106a which isolates a polarized wave in the perpendicular directions from an inputted signal light, means 108a and 108b amplifying these polarized waves, and a means 106b which synthesizes the amplified, polarized waves and turn them into output signals. In addition, the module is equipped with a means 103 turning the signal light into parallel one, a means 104 turning the polarized waves outputted from the amplifying means 108a and 108b into parallel light, and the isolators 107a-107d on the optical axes of the polarized waves on the input and output sides. As a result, the unintentionally emitted light from the amplifying elements 108a and 108b is prevented from being reflected on the tips of the fibers and from again making incident on said elements 108a and 108b. In addition, the self-oscillation of the amplifying elements 108a and 108b and increase in noise included electrical signals can be prevented. |
