| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To allow computation to be executed by the optical element which can be easily integrated and makes high-speed optical logical operations by constituting the optical system of a 1st light emitting element and a 2nd light emitting element which is optically coupled thereto and makes pulse oscillation. CONSTITUTION:Respective lasers 1, 2 oscillate at frequencies f1, f2 when the two lasers 1, 2 are not held optically coupled. The pulse repeating frequencies f1', f2' attain fractions in the ratio of f1' and f2' in the intermediate coupling region of a fractal state by the intensity of the interaction between the lasers when these lasers are optical coupled by an optical fiber 3. For example, the laser 1 for an oscillator is pulse-oscillated at 100MHz and the laser 2 for a driver is pulse-oscillated at 500MHz at this time. The exit light intensity of the laser 2 is increased and the frequency of the laser changes from 100MHz to 500MHz while the ratio thereof attains the fractional value. As a result, the fractional logical computation is executed. |
