| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To preclude an error in latching by using data light as TM polarized light and frame light as TM polarized light and performing the optical data latching of the bistable LD. CONSTITUTION:The data light passing through a polarization plane maintaining optical fiber 2 has the plane of polarization parallel to the paper surface and the frame light passing through a polarization plane maintaining optical fiber 22 has the plane of polarization perpendicular to the paper surface; and those data light and frame light are applied to a polarization plane maintaining optical coupler 24 and emitted through a polarization plane maintaining optical fiber 23, so that their polarization states are held. The Data light which is the TM polarized light and the frame light which is the TE polarized light emitting from the optical fiber 23 are inputted to the bistable semiconductor laser (bistable LD) 26 through a lens 25 after passing through the same optical path, so that they can be inputted to the LD 26 while the polarization states are held. This optical coupling structure is used to suppress the influence on the data latching operation and the influence of the interference between the data light and frame light upon the LD operation. |
