英文摘要PURPOSE:To reduce output fractuation caused by change in an environmental temp. by fixing a light wave length converting element, made by forming an optical waveguide path on a substrate, and a laser beam source on the same optical axis in a lens barrel, and constituting the lens barrel of a material having a heat expansion coefficient the same or almost the same as the light wave length converting element. CONSTITUTION:The light wave length converting element 6 made by forming the optical waveguide path 7 on a nonlinear optical crystaline plate, and the laser beam source 1 are fixed on the same optical axis in the lens barrel 10. Such a material is used for the lens barrel 10 that has expansion coefficient the same or almost the same as the nonlinear optical crystaline plate. Hence, the difference in the expansion coefficient between the light wave length converting element 6 and the lens barrel 10 is small. Thus, the distortion is released at an adhering part between the light wave converting element 6 and the lens barrel 10 when the environmental temp. is charged, the deviation of the optical axis is reduced, thereby stabilizing the output from the short wavelength beam light source.
