英文摘要The invention relates to a method for performing laser adsorption spectroscopy of gases. According to the inventive method, a gas which has at least one characteristic absorption feature in the wavelength range from 0.5 ñm to 15 ñm is detected. Spectroscopic analysis is carried out in said wavelength range by means of at least one vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL).
