英文摘要PURPOSE:To stabilize the degree of modulation by detecting the AC component of a laser light to control the oscillated frequency and the amplitude to desired values and detecting the variance of the DC component to control the bias voltage of a light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:The frequency signal of an oscillating circuit 1 is amplified by an amplifier 2 and is supplied to a semiconductor laser element 23. Only the AC components of the output voltage onto which the AC component of a photodetector 25 is superposed is supplied to a rectifying and smoothing circuit 3 by a capacitor C6, and a rectified voltage Vd is supplied to the inverted input terminal (-) of an inverting amplifier A1 and is compared with a reference voltage VREF1 of the non- inverted input terminal (+). An output voltage V0 of the amplifier A1 drives a transistor TrQ3 to control a supply voltage VB of circuits 1 and 2, and the frequency and the amplitude of the frequency signal applied to the element 23 are controlled automatically to certain values. Meanwhile, only a bias voltage V1 is supplied to the terminal (-) of an inverting amplifier A2 by a coil L4 and is compared with a reference voltage VREF2, and an output voltage VC corresponding to the differential voltage drives a TrQ4, and a power VD is supplied to the cathode of the element 23 to control power automatically.
