| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To obtain an image with good reproducibility of gradations by modulating both the intensity and time of each output pulse by a laser beam modulating means which modulates laser beam in a pulse shape according to an input video signal. CONSTITUTION:An input video signal X is amplified by an amplifier 13 and inputted to an AD converter 8. The AD converter 8 inputs the output pulse signal C of an SOS clock 7 and starts AD conversion when laser beam BR reaches a scanning head position. The AD-converted digital signal is divided into high-order bits and low-order bits; one signal D1 is inputted to an AD converter 9 and led out as an analog signal A and the other signal D2 is inputted to a pulse width modulator 10. The output signal C is inputted to this modulator 10 as well and used to lead out a signal B having pulse width after time modulation is imposed according to the input signal D2. This signal B and the output signal A of the AD converter 9 are inputted to an AND circuit 11 to obtain a signal W after intensity modulation and time modulation and the signal is amplified and supplied as an exciting signal to a semiconductor laser |
