| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To prevent a semiconductor laser from being broken with an excessive driving current by inhibiting a jump from a minimum counted value to a maximum counted value or vice versa so that an up/down counter increases the driving current of the semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION:A ripple carry signal outputted by the up/down counter 13 when its counted value becomes minimum and the output signal of a comparator 12 are ANDed by an AND circuit 25, whose output signal sets a flip-flop 22. Therefore, when the output level of the comparator 12 is at a high level and the counted value of the up/down counter 13 attains to 0 as the minimum counted value, the flip-flop 22 is reset and the up/down counter 13 is disabled and does not jump from the minimum counted value to the maximum counted value, so the driving current of the semiconductor laser 1 is maintained and the semiconductor laser is not broken down. |
