英文摘要PURPOSE:To simultaneously regulate the maximum and minimum value of a driving current of a semiconductor laser in response to an irregularity in the current of the laser to constantly maintain the quantizing error of a digital/ analog converter thereby to improve the controlling accuracy of an output controller for a semiconductor laser by providing a circuit for simultaneously regulating the maximum and minimum values of the driving current determined by the converter. CONSTITUTION:A digital/analog converter 16 outputs a current Imax determined by resistors R1, R2 when a digital input from from a counter 13 becomes maximum, the output is input to the inverting input terminal of a current amplifier 17, and a voltage Vmin in which a constant voltage is divided by a variable resistor VR is input to the noninverting input terminal of the amplifier 17. The maximum and minimum values I0pmax, I0pmin of the driving current I0p of a semiconductor laser 1 can be set at every driving current of the laser 1 when Vmin is regulated by a variable resistor VR by the irregularity of the driving current of the laser Thus, the quantizing error of the converter 16 becomes constant to control it accurately.
