| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To perform stably a record and the regeneration of information, which are brought with the modulation of the optical output of a semiconductor laser, by a method wherein the non-linearity of the current-voltage characteristics of the laser is utilized and a high-frequency voltage is applied in such a way that the amplitude of the voltage is constant without depending on the excitation level of the laser. CONSTITUTION:When an information modulation signal inputted through a terminal 3 of a semiconductor laser drive system is regenerated by a processing circuit 4, a D/C signal voltage for turning the output of a semiconductor laser 1 into a regenerated optical power is sent to each of a comparator (I) 8, an amplifier 5 and a comparator (II) 11 to hold a mean optical output in such a way that the output becomes constant by an automatic power control. Moreover, the amplitude of a high-frequency voltage which is applied to the laser 1 is stabilized by comparing the output of a high-frequency amplifier 9 with an output from the circuit 4. Moreover, in case the optical output of the laser 1 is modulated according to information, information of 1 and 0 is inputted through the terminal 3 to perform a waveform shaping by the circuit 4 and the output of the laser 1 is modulated in a rectangular form in such a way that a record high-output power and a record low-output power correspond to either of the information 1 and 0. |
