| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To relax the division accuracy of both emission time and emission power to realize a multiple gradation of an apparatus by constituting said apparatus from a driving current setting circuit for putting a driving current determined by the combination of an emission timing signal with the emission power signal of a power setting circuit upon a bias current and for causing the obtained current to flow through a semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION:Under an oscillated threshold current Ith, a semiconductor laser LED emits light and laser-generates oscillation above said oscillated threshold current Ith. On the other hand, an apparatus is provided with a timing generator circuit 3 for a digital signal with n=4 bits D3, D2, D1, D0 expressing 16 gradations relative to one picture element to be inputted to and with a power setting circuit 4. Also, said apparatus is provided with a driving current setting circuit 5 for putting a driving current upon a bias current by a bias setting circuit 2 and for causing the obtained current to flow through a semiconductor laser 1 according to data on the emission time and emission power outputted from said timing generator circuit 3 and power setting circuit 4. The current value of said driving current setting circuit 5 is determined by timing through a specified current control signal ICONT. |
