| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To block a fault current rushed into a light emitting element due to malfunction of a constant current supply means by providing the light emitting element, the constant current supply means supplying a constant current to the light emitting element and providing a current limit means limiting a rush fault current between the both. CONSTITUTION:Suppose that a current supplied by a constant current circuit 52 is increased due to a malfunction of an MPU 9 in the constant current circuit 52 or a fault of a transistor(TR) 5 or the like and the fault current reaches the vicinity of the maximum rating current of a semiconductor laser 1, then the resistance of a resistor 63 is set so that the base-emitter voltage of a TR 62 is nearly, e.g., 0.7V. Thus, when a voltage across the resistor 63 reaches nearly 0.7V, the TR 62 is turned on to cut off the flowing of a base current from the resistor 64 to a TR 6 Then the TR 61 is turned off to disconnect the current path from a current switching circuit 51 to the constant current circuit 52. Thus, the destruction of the semiconductor laser 1 is prevented. |
