英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts in the inside of a unit, and to miniaturize the unit by controlling the output of a semiconductor laser with light transmitted through a mirror arranged in an optical path. CONSTITUTION:The light radiated from the semiconductor laser 1 is emitted from the unit 6 after being transmitted through a diffractive optical element 4, and separated zero-th order light is reflected by a half mirror 11, and is made incident on a focus lens 8, and a focus is image-formed on a recording medium 9. Reflected light is modulated by a pit 9a on the recording medium 9, and returns along a former path, and when it passes again through a hologram area on the diffractive optical element 4, it is diffracted, and a beam spot is image-formed on an error signal detecting photodetector 5, and an error signal is obtained as the result of arithmetic operation. On the other hand, the light reflected and transmitted by and through the half mirror 11 along the beams radiated from the semiconductor laser 1 is made incident on the photodetector for monitoring, and a signal is obtained. This signal is used for the output control of the semiconductor laser Thus, the number of the parts in the inside of the unit 6 can be reduced, and the unit 6 can be miniaturized. |
