| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To improve the optical coupling efficiency of a light-emitting element and an optical fiber, and to enhance the yield of production by applying external force to the head section of a supporter in the desired direction and correcting the position of the optical coupling tip of the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A fiber guide 6, a supporter 20 and a monitor fiber 23 are fixed to a stem 1 with silver solder, and a sub-mount 2 on which a chip 3 is fastened is positioned and fixed on a pedestal section 16 on the stem 1 with solder 5. An optical fiber 7 is inserted into the fiber guide 6 while an optical coupling tip 8 at the tip of the optical fiber is inserted into the hole 21 of the supporter 20, and the tip is opposed to the projecting surface of the chip 3. The optical fiber 7 is fixed at the nose section of the fiber guide 6 by a fixing material 29 consisting of a resin under the state, and the hole of the fiber guide 6 is clogged. Predetermined voltage is applied to the chip 3 to emit light, an optical output taken into the optical fiber is detected, the nose section of the fiber guide 6 is moved finely up and down and left and right so that the optical output is maximized, and the optical coupling tip 8 is adjusted so as to be positioned at the center of the hole 2 |
