英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To optimally set the optical axes and the interval of a laser diode chip, an output optical fiber and a light collector by introducing a reference light and measuring the intensity of the reflected light emitted from the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A reference light from a light source 6 is incident to the emitting surface of an output optical fiber 1 through a half mirror 7, and emitted to the end face that the active layer of a laser diode 3 is presented through a light collector 8. The reflected light is coupled through the collector 8 to the output optical fiber 1, and the reflected light is input through the mirror 7 to a power meter 9. The same light as the wavelength emitted from the chip 3 is incident from a light source 6 to the optical fiber 1, and the chip 3 is finely moved and regulated at the position so as to detect the highest intensity of the reflected light on the basis of the refractive index distribution depending upon the structure of the end of the chip 3 collected by the collector 8. |
