| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To prevent a return light from entering a semiconductor laser element as well as to contrive to reduce noise of the titled device by a method wherein a polarized beam splitter is provided on the laser beam emitting surface of the container wherein a semiconductor laser element is sealed. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor laser element 2 is arranged on a base plate 1 which performs an additional function as a heat sink of a semiconductor laser device, and a cap 4 equipped with a polarized beam splitter is covered thereon. Said splitter 5 is arranged opposing to the laser beam emitting surface of the element 2, and a lambda/4 plate 6 is arranged outside the splitter 5. Then, the beam passed through the lambda/4 plate 6 is formed into a circularly polarized light in parallel, the reflected light reached a disc 7 is made incident on the lambda/4 plate 6 again, the circularly polarized light which passed through the plate 6 is brought in vertical direction, said light is shut off by the splitter 5, and the reflected light is prevented from returning to the element 2, thereby enabling to reduce the noise generating in the laser device. |
