| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To enable to oscillate at single spectrum even when a direct modulation by current is performed by a method wherein one end face of optical fiber is coupled to the end face of one resonator of a semiconductor laser, and the other end face of the optical fiber is coupled to the other end face of the semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION:The branching device 6 inserted in the middle of optical fiber branches a part of light in such a manner that it is picked out to outside. A mount 7 is used to fix a semiconductor laser chip and optical fiber 5, and the semiconductor chip is adhered to the mount 7 by solder. An electrode 8 is attached to the upper surface of the semiconductor laser chip and it is connected to a power source. The center part of one end face of the optical fiber is accurately positioned on the oscillation part of the semiconductor laser, and it is fixed to the mount. The other end face of the optical fiber is fixed in such a manner that it is coupled to the other oscillation part of the semiconductor laser in the same manner as above. The resonator of the semiconductor laser itself and the resonator composed of the optical fiber constitute a composite resonator, and a single wavelength can be oscillated in a selective manner. |
