英文摘要PURPOSE:To manufacture an optoelectronic device, whose optical coupling efficiency is high, with good reproducibility, by supporting a laser chip, which faces the tip of optical fiber, with a supporting body that can be freely bent, thereby performing optical-axis alignment between the optical fiber and the laser chip. CONSTITUTION:When optical-axis alignment of a laser chip 9 and optical fiber 12 is performed, the optical fiber 12 and the laser chip 9 are fixed at specified positions. By this fixing, the rough position alignment of the laser chip 9 and the optical fiber 12 is achieved. Then, an external force is applied to the tip part of a supporting body 5, and the position is corrected. Thus the optical-axis alignment of the optical fiber 12 and laser light 11, which is emitted from the laser chip, is performed. Since the optical fiber 12 is only fixed to a supporting body 23 through a fixing material 24, excessive force is not applied and residual stress and the like are not yielded. Since the root part of the supporting body 5 is formed as a necked-in part 6, the body 5 can be bent relatively easily, and the efficiency of the optical-axis aligning work is improved.
