| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To fix an optical semiconductor element to a mount with excellent positional accuracy by fastening one reference plane of the optical semiconductor element with reference planes for positioning to the mount. CONSTITUTION:A ridgy projecting section in a semiconductor laser is formed through a photo-process, and a relative position from a light-emitting section in a ridgy side surface is determined extremely precisely. Consequently, a chip is mounted to a heat sink 6 by utilizing the ridgy side surface and the surface of a P side electrode 3, thus accurately determining a relative position to the heat sink 6 of the light-emitting section 2. A board 5 consisting of an insulator and the heat sink 6 are fixed and unified with high precision. Positions at the time of coupling with an optical fiber can be adjusted efficiently, and the surface 3 in the vicinity of the light-emitting section 2 is brought into contact with the heat sink 6 or the board 5 composed of the insulator having large thermal conductivity, thus largely improving the efficiency of heat dissipation. |
