| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To obtain a laser module, in which modulation can be performed to a high frequency band and a large amount of monitoring light can be obtained, by connecting a laser-element driving outer circuit and a laser element by using a strip line, which is provided in parallel with the light emitting surface of the laser element. CONSTITUTION:A heat sink 14 is provided at the bottom part of a fabricating jig 13, which is formed with a metal material such as L shaped copper. A laser diode 15 is placed on the heat sink 14. A strip line 16 is provided in an alumina insulating plate 17. The plate 17 is provided in a recess part, which is formed by a protruded part 11 and a step part 12 of the fabricating jig 13. The strip line 16 and the laser diode 15 are connected by using wire 18 comprising gold wire. The strip line 16 is provided in parallel with a light emitting surface D of the laser diode 15. Since the strip line 16 has the excellent high frequency characteristics, modulation can be performed in a high frequency band, and light projected backward from the laser diode 15 is not scattered and does not disappear. Therefore a large amount of the monitoring light can be obtained. |
