| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To meet a demand for a low noise and provide a packaged semiconductor laser drive by monitoring a gallium arsenide integrated circuit convoluted by a high frequency current as well as a beam outgoing in the froward direction of a semiconductor laser and causing a silicon I.C. having a function of negative feedback to turn into an integrated hybrid one. CONSTITUTION:When a semiconductor laser 8 operates in a constant light output state, a signal generated out of a built-in PIN photodiode 13 is fed to an external (constant light output drive) circuit through a through type 14 and a DC current that flows in the semiconductor laser 8 is controlled so that its signal can be maintained at a constant rate. A high-frequency current fed from a gallium arsenide integrated circuit for convoluting the high frequency is convoluted to the DC current through a load coil 6 and a coupling capacitor 7. Accordingly, the semiconductor laser makes oscillation having a stable noise level. Yet, a portion of the beam outgoing in the forward direction of the semiconductor laser is taken out and is fed to the external PIN photodiode 9 and then, the signal is amplified and a noise decreases by causing the semiconductor laser 8 to have a negative feedback function. |
