英文摘要PURPOSE:To remarkably facilitate the assembling and adjustment and to stably irradiate the light having circular cross section by using a semiconductor laser beam source, a coupling lens and a triangle prism as one light source assembly. CONSTITUTION:The light from a semiconductor laser beam source 1 is collimated by a coupling lens 2 and the elliptic light is collimated into a parallel light having nearly circular cross section by a triangle prism 7. The three optical components are arranged into one light source assembly by coupling members 3, 4, 5. Thus, the relation between the optical axis of the lens 2 and the incident angle of the prism 7 depends on the shape of the coupling member 5 and the deviation of the fitting angle is not almost caused. Further, the relation between the light source 1 and the lens 2 is positioned optionally by adjusting the coupling members 3, 4 in x, y directions. Thus, the assembling/adjustment is much facilitated and the light having circular cross section is stably irradiated.
