| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To obtain an optical amplifier which can adjust easily an optical axis and whose optical loss is small by placing a semiconductor laser in the center of a metallic rod having a through-hole in the center and placing a lens in its left and right, and allowing an optical axis of other optical element to coincide with the center axis of the metallic rod. CONSTITUTION:A through-hole is provided on the center axis of a metallic rod 11 of, for instance, iron, etc., a semiconductor laser ID 32 is placed in the center line 13 of the rod 11, and in its left and right, coupling lenses 33, 34 are fitted into the through-hole. Subsequently, optical fibers 35, 36 are soldered to metallic holders 14, 15, and its axes are allowed to coincide with optical axes of the lenses 33, 34 and placed. Accordingly, the optical axis adjustment of the LD 32, the coupling lenses 33, 34 and the optical fibers 35, 36 can be executed very easily. According to such constitution, a light beam which is emitted from the input fiber 35 is amplified by the ID 32 and coupled to the optical fiber 36, but an optical loss in that case can be made remarkably small. |
