英文摘要PURPOSE:To make the workability better, by providing a aspherical glass single lens for condensing in a window for emitting a laser beam, and facilitating the position adjustment in the optical axis direction for a semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION:A condensing glass lens 30 is fixed by adhesion in a way of closing the laser-emitting window of a protective cover 20. In the case of fixing the lens 30 to the cover 20, position adjustment is performed in reference to the light-emitting section of a semiconductor laser chip 10. If the lens 30 is single aspherical one, the precision in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis is loose, and the position adjustment of the optical axis direction is performed by the inserted state of a heat sink 14 into the cover 20, and the inserted state of a stem 12 into the heat sink 14. In this way, the position adjustment can be simplified by the use of a single aspherical lens. Besides, the constitution is simple; the workability is good; and the unit construction system is usable. Accordingly, the handling property can be increased, too.
