| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To fix an optical fiber to a coupling optical system at the optimum position by high-quality laser welding without causing any positional slippage at the time of welding by arranging powder, particles, or sheets made of a metal having a melting point lower than that of fixing members to the peripheral sections by the number of the members, heating these members by irradiating infrared laser light on the members to melt them. CONSTITUTION:Ag powder 8 composed principally of Ag is applied to the peripheral sections of a lens holder 6, holder 9, and ferrule 11, which are used as fixed sections 7, and the powder 8 is melted by the irradiating the powder 8 with a YAG laser beam. Joining of the sections are successively performed in the order of arrows A, B, and C and seam welding is performed to each section. When the fixed sections 7 are welded to each other in such way, no stress accompanying melting and solidification is not produced between each fixed section 7 and occurrence of deterioration in coupling caused by positional shifting between each section 7 at the time of the welding are very small. In addition no carbide, etc., is produced at the welded sections. Therefore, the quality of the welded sections can be improved and the reliability of this module can be maintained for a long period. |
