| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To increase monitor currents by installing a photo-diode for light reception of monitor light of a laser chip on the plate section side of a stem so that the lower section of the photo-diode is positioned into the recessed section of a strut section to which the laser chip is arranged. CONSTITUTION:A laser chip 5 is disposed at a nose section on a strut section 3 as a heat sink mounted to a plate section 2 as the reference plane of a stem 1 through a mounting member 4 while a recessed section 3a is shaped to the plate-section side base end section of the strut section 3, and a photo-diode 6 for light reception of monitor light of the laser chip 5 is set up on the plate section side of the stem 1 so that the lower section of the photo-diode 6 is positioned into the recessed section 3a. Accordingly, monitor light emitted from the rear face of the laser chip 5 is projected near the central section of the photo-diode 6, thus increasing the quantity of light reception, then augmenting monitor currents. |
