英文摘要PURPOSE:To maintain high optical coupling efficiency by interposing piezoelectric elements which can deform between an optical system constituent elements and a housing, and adjusting voltages applied to the piezoelectric elements and adjusting the position of the optical system constituent elements. CONSTITUTION:The piezoelectric elements 5 which can deforms in different directions independently on a plane (xy plane) perpendicular to an optical axis OA are provided between two of three optical system constituent elements 1-3 and the housing 4. Then electric power supplied to the piezoelectric elements 5 is adjusted to adjust the positions of a least the two optical system constituent elements 1-3. Therefore, the positions of the optical system constituent elements 1-3 are adjusted effectively with the necessary irreducible constitution. Consequently, a decrease in the optical coupling efficiency due to the deformation of a member with temperature or time is coped with sufficiently. Further, the positions of the optical system constituent elements 1-3 are adjusted to obtain the high optical coupling efficiency.
