| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To expand the dynamic range and to make a communication even if the loss of a transmission line is large by providing a wavelength filter in the laser diode LD module and suppressing a spurious wavelength component in natural emitted light. CONSTITUTION:This module is equipped with an LD element 1, an optical fiber 5, an optical system 3 which couples laser oscillation light from the LD element 1 with the end surface of the optical fiber 5, the wavelength filter 4 which transmits the laser oscillation light and attenuates the spurious wavelength component in the natural emitted light, and a housing 7 where they are stored and fixed. Namely, the natural emitted light is generated by the LD element 1 together with the laser oscillation light, but the wavelength filter 4 attenuates the spurious wavelength component of the natural emitted light and transmits only the laser oscillation light. Consequently, the dynamic range can be expanded for, for example, a wavelength-multiplex single-core duplex optical fiber communication, which is made possible even when the loss of the transmission line is large. |
