| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To restrain a cap from deteriorating in airtightness so as to prevent a semiconductor laser chip from deteriorating in durability by a method wherein a transparent plate is pressed against the cap interposing a sealing body between them. CONSTITUTION:A block 5 is provided onto the upside of a stem 2 in one piece, a semiconductor laser chip 6 is die-bonded to the side face of the block 5 through the intermediary of a semiconductor board provided with a monitoring photodiode. A cap 3 provided with a transparent plate 4 is made to cover the chip 6 and the block 5, and all the periphery of an outward flange 3a is resistance-welded to the upside of the stem 2. Then, the cap 3 is pressed against the stem 2 interposing the transparent plate 4, so that the cap 3 is prevented from deteriorating in airtightness so as to protect the chip 6 against deterioration in durability. |
