| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and the man-hour of assembling by constituting a radiant light coupling means, which is provided between a laser diode and a ferrule, of a short-sized ferrule through which a specific coupling optical fiber is inserted. CONSTITUTION:A coupling optical fiber 11 whose one end facing a laser diode 17 is worked into a spherical surface is incorporated in a short-sized ferrule 12 centered with a high precision, and this ferrule 12 is inserted through a receptacle 14, and the other end of the coupling fiber 11 is optically ground together with the end face of the short-sized ferrule 12. One end face of the ferrule 16 incorporating the optical fiber 15 is worked into the spherical surface, and the ferrule 16 is inserted through the receptable 14 so that it is physically brought into contact with the short-sized ferrule 12. Thus, the number of parts and the man-hour of assembling are reduced. |
