英文摘要PURPOSE:To reduce power supply for driving a semiconductor laser, miniaturize a device, and simplify a driving method, by a method wherein an AC input part and each electrode are capacitance-coupled via insulating films formed on each electrode. CONSTITUTION:The following are provided; a semiconductor light emitting device 9 having a plurality of electrodes 10a-10n, and AC input parts and DC input parts which correspond with the above electrodes 10a-10n and apply AC and DC to the light emitting device 9. The AC input parts and each of the electrodes 10a-10n are capacitance-coupled via insulating films 14a-14n formed on each of the electrodes 10a-10n on the semiconductor light emitting device 9. For example, third contact parts 13a-13n of each of the electrodes 10a-10n are capacitance-coupled to an electrode 15 of the common AC input part via the capacitor insulating films 14a-14n. As to the insulating films 14a-14n, an SiO2 film, an Si3N4 film, a TiO2 film, etc., are selectively used in response to the AC frequency.
