| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To prevent an end surface of a semiconductor laser element from being broken by high-output reflected light by providing an interference film filter on the optical path which couples the semiconductor laser element with an optical fiber and sealing a light guide-out window. CONSTITUTION:In the semiconductor module which outputs exciting light to an optical amplifier for amplifying signal light while the semiconductor laser element 11 in a package 21 to be sealed is coupled with the optical fiber 27 outside the package 21 through the light guide-out window provided on the side wall of the package 21, a glass plate 31 formed on the surface of the interference film filter 30 cutting off the signal light seals the light guide-out window so that the interference film filter 30 is present on the optical path coupling the semiconductor laser element with the optical fiber 27. The return light, therefore, never breaks the end surface of the semiconductor laser element 11 by fusion and the glass plate 31 serves as airtight sealing glass, so the small- sized semiconductor laser module for excitation wherein a return light countermeasure is taken is obtained at low cost. |
