| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To reduce a driving current of an AlGaInP semiconductor laser so as to be used for a light source of an optical disk, etc. CONSTITUTION:A p-type AlGaInP clad layer 2 constituting a part of an optical waveguide is covered with an n-type GaAs/n-type GaInP Bragg reflector 4 in which its thickness is equal to 1/4 of a vertical wavelength of a laser light. Since the reflector 4 has a high reflectivity for the light, a mode loss of the waveguide is reduced. |
