| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To condense the laser beams of an optical disc, etc., up to the limit of diffraction, and to improve the performance of an optical information processor by mounting an output mirror having low reflectivity to the wavelength of the half of the wavelength of laser beams and a nonlinear type optical crystal, etc. CONSTITUTION:Laser beams emitted from the low reflecting coating film 13 of a semiconductor laser chip 11 are fed back to the chip 11 by an output mirror 12 as a concave mirror. The mirror 12 has high reflectivity to the wavelength of semiconductor laser beams emitted from the chip 11, and has low reflectivity to the wavelength of half, and a nonlinear type optical crystal 15 is inserted between the mirror 12 and the chip 11, thus constituting a resonator. Both end faces of the crystal 15 have low reflectivity to the wavelength of laser beams, and the chip 11 side has high reflectivity and the mirror 12 side low reflectivity to the wavelength of half, and higher-harmonic laser beams can be extracted through the mirror 12. Accordingly, laser beams can be condensed up to the limit of diffraction, and the title laser device can contribute largely to improvement in the performance of an optical information processor such as a high-density optical disc. |
