| 英文摘要 | PURPOSE:To minimize the quantity of variation of optical coupling at the time of assembly by providing heat radiation fins to the external surface of a package and forming a metal welding structure at the fixation part between an optical waveguide and a through fixation part. CONSTITUTION:The periphery of an optical fiber 30 which has its jacket 35a removed and penetrates the hole 38 of a package 21 is fixed by soldering at a specific position of a waveguide holder 33, which is fitted to holder fixation members 31 and 32 fixed on a mount 23; and the connection surfaces 31a and 32a of the fixation members 31 and 32 are set opposite the connection surfaces 33a and 33b of the holder 33. Then the optical fiber 35 is adjusted optically about an LD chip 26 and thus so positioned as to obtain the best optical coupling efficiency. Then the connection surfaces 31a and 32a, and 33a and 33b are fixed with solder 34 by using a YAG laser, etc. Then the optical fiber 35 is fixed to a through fixation part 37, the optical fiber 35 is run through the through a pipe 39; the end part of the pipe 39 and optical fiber 35 are fixed with solder 40 in the hole; and the other end of the pipe 39 is fixed with the jacket 35a and solder 41 and the optical fiber 35 is fixed to the through fixation part 37. |
